Terms of Service

Last updated: April 6, 2026

1. The basics

By using DeltaLift, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Simple as that.

DeltaLift is a workout tracking app. You log exercises, track personal records, view muscle heatmaps, follow your strength rankings, read and write blog posts with friends, and see your progress over time. It works offline by default, with optional cloud sync if you create an account.

2. Accounts

You don't need an account to use the app. It works fully offline without one. If you do create an account, keep your password secure and make sure the email you provide is real. You can delete your account whenever you want through the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account), through our deletion page, or by emailing support@deltalift.cc.

3. Subscription

DeltaLift Premium costs 49 kr/month, billed through Google Play. It gives you access to cloud sync, advanced analytics, and the social features (friends, blogs, showcases).

Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the billing period ends. To cancel, go to Google Play Store → Subscriptions → DeltaLift → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

We don't handle payments directly — Google does. That means we don't offer refunds either. If you need one, contact Google Play Support. We may change the price in the future, but we'll let existing subscribers know in advance before it affects them.

For users in the EU/Sweden: By subscribing to DeltaLift Premium and accessing the service immediately, you agree to waive your 14-day right of withdrawal (ångerrätt).

4. Don't be that person

Use the app for what it's meant for. Don't try to break into other people's accounts, mess with our servers, or run bots against the app. Don't scrape data from DeltaLift or try to reverse-engineer how the heatmap generation, strength rankings, or any of the proprietary calculations work. Don't upload anything offensive as your profile picture or bio, and don't use the friends or blog features to harass anyone.

DeltaLift has a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, harassing, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content (blog posts, profile pictures, bios) and terminate accounts that violate these standards without a refund.

5. Fitness disclaimer

DeltaLift is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

The strength rankings, 1RM estimates, muscle heatmaps, and body composition numbers the app shows you are informational. They're there to help you track progress and stay motivated, not to replace actual medical or coaching advice. If you have health conditions, talk to a doctor before changing your training.

You take full responsibility for any exercise you do while using DeltaLift. We don't supervise your form, your intensity, or your programming. Physical training carries inherent risks — muscle strains, joint injuries, and worse. By using the app, you acknowledge those risks and accept them.

6. Your content

Everything you put into DeltaLift — workout logs, body metrics, profile info, blog posts — is yours. We don't own it. By using cloud sync, you give us permission to store and transmit that data so the service works. That's it.

7. Friends and blogs

When you add someone as a friend, they can see your name, profile picture, workout activity, showcase, and blog posts. You can see theirs. If you remove a friend, they lose access to your stuff. We're not responsible for what people do with info they saw while you were connected.

8. Our stuff

The app itself — its design, code, heatmap models, ranking algorithms, icons, and branding — belongs to DeltaLift. Don't copy it, redistribute it, or build on top of it.

9. Availability

We try to keep things running, but we can't guarantee the cloud services will be up every second of every day. The app is built to work offline, so even if sync is down, your workouts aren't going anywhere. We may also update, change, or remove features over time.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using DeltaLift. That includes injuries during exercise, data loss, downtime, inaccurate calculations, or decisions you make based on what the app tells you. If we are liable for something, the maximum amount is whatever you've paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Termination

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms. You can close your own account anytime through Profile → Settings → Delete Account, the deletion page, or by emailing support@deltalift.cc.

12. Changes

We might update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here. If it's a major change, we'll notify you in the app too. Keeping on using DeltaLift after an update means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes go to Swedish courts. If you're an EU consumer, this doesn't override the consumer protection laws in your own country.
