Terms of Service

Last updated: May 22, 2026

1. The basics

By using DeltaLift, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Simple as that.

DeltaLift is a strength tracking app. You log exercises, track personal records, view personalized muscle heatmaps, climb a 7-tier ranking system from Iron to Radiant, earn XP and level up, follow your progression on charts and projections, unlock achievements, share completed workouts with friends, and compete on the leaderboard. It works fully offline by default, with optional cloud sync if you create an account.

2. Accounts

You don't need an account to use the app. It works fully offline without one. If you do create an account, you must be at least 16 years old. Keep your password secure and make sure the email you provide is real. You can delete your account whenever you want through the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account), through our deletion page, or by emailing support@deltalift.cc.

3. Subscription (DeltaLift Premium)

DeltaLift Premium is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, billed through Google Play. Live pricing for your region is shown on the in-app paywall — that's the price that applies to you. New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial; the exact length is shown before you confirm the purchase.

Premium unlocks unlimited workout templates, unlimited custom exercises, full chart ranges (1M / 3M / 6M / 1Y / All Time), the Analysis tab with projections and global strength positioning, the full muscle heatmap across all time windows, logging past workouts, 30 additional color themes (the free tier ships with the default theme), and a few smaller perks. The free tier always includes workout logging, cloud sync if you sign in, the 1RM calculator, achievements, friends, leaderboards, the ranking system, and 7D/14D chart history.

Your subscription renews automatically each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. To cancel, go to Google Play Store → Subscriptions → DeltaLift → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your DeltaLift account does not cancel the Google Play subscription — you have to cancel that separately or you'll keep being charged.

We don't handle payments directly — Google does. That means we don't issue refunds either. If you need one, contact Google Play Support. We may change the price in the future, but we'll notify existing subscribers in advance before any change takes effect for them.

For users in the EU/Sweden: By subscribing to DeltaLift Premium and accessing the service immediately, you agree to waive your 14-day right of withdrawal (ångerrätt).

4. Don't be that person

Use the app for what it's meant for. Don't try to break into other people's accounts, mess with our servers, or run bots against the app. Don't scrape data from DeltaLift or try to reverse-engineer how the heatmap generation, strength rankings, XP calculations, or any of the proprietary algorithms work. Don't upload anything offensive as your profile picture, display name, or showcase, and don't use the friends feed, reactions, or leaderboard to harass anyone.

The global leaderboard is strictly opt-in. If you opt in, your display name, avatar, current streak, and rank become visible to other DeltaLift users who have also opted in. We have a zero-tolerance policy for inflated streaks (logging fake workouts to climb the leaderboard), abusive content, harassment, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove user-generated content (profile pictures, display names, showcases, shared workouts) and terminate accounts that violate these standards without a refund.

5. Fitness disclaimer

DeltaLift is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

The strength rankings, 1RM estimates, projections, muscle heatmaps, BMI readout, and body composition numbers the app shows you are informational. They're there to help you track progress and stay motivated, not to replace actual medical or coaching advice. If you have health conditions, talk to a doctor before changing your training.

You take full responsibility for any exercise you do while using DeltaLift. We don't supervise your form, your intensity, or your programming. Physical training carries inherent risks — muscle strains, joint injuries, and worse. By using the app, you acknowledge those risks and accept them.

Exercise illustrations. The exercise illustrations and demonstration figures inside the app are stylized references meant to communicate the general movement pattern — not a precise coaching guide. Joint angles, grip width, foot placement, and other form details may be slightly off or simplified. Don't rely on them as a substitute for proper instruction. If you're new to a lift, learn it from a qualified coach, a reputable video, or a textbook before loading it heavy.

Train safely. Always ensure your equipment is in good condition and use a spotter when lifting heavy weights. If you feel pain (not just muscle fatigue), stop immediately. By using DeltaLift, you agree that you are training at your own risk and that DeltaLift is not responsible for any physical injury, medical expense, or equipment damage resulting from your workouts.

6. Your content

Everything you put into DeltaLift — workout logs, body metrics, profile info, custom exercises, templates, showcase, shared workouts — is yours. We don't own it. By using cloud sync, you give us permission to store and transmit that data so the service works. That's it.

7. Friends, sharing, and leaderboards

When you add someone as a friend, they can see your display name, avatar, recent workout activity, showcase, muscle heatmap on your profile, and any workouts you've shared to the friends feed. You can see theirs. They can react to your shared workouts (fire, muscle, clap). If you remove a friend, they lose access to your stuff.

The friends leaderboard is private to your friend group. The global leaderboard requires an explicit opt-in (Friends → Leaderboard → Global) and you can leave it at any time, which removes you from the public ranking immediately. We're not responsible for what people do with information they saw while you were connected or opted in.

8. Our stuff

The app itself — its design, code, heatmap models, rank algorithms, XP curves, icons, rank badges, and branding — belongs to DeltaLift. Don't copy it, redistribute it, or build on top of it.

9. Availability

We try to keep things running, but we can't guarantee the cloud services will be up every second of every day. The app is built offline-first, so even if sync is down, your workouts aren't going anywhere — they're stored on your device. We may also update, change, or remove features over time.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using DeltaLift. That includes injuries during exercise, data loss, downtime, inaccurate calculations or projections, or decisions you make based on what the app tells you. If we are liable for something, the maximum amount is whatever you've paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Termination

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms. You can close your own account anytime through Profile → Settings → Delete Account, the deletion page, or by emailing support@deltalift.cc. Remember: closing your account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription — cancel that separately in the Play Store.

12. Changes

We might update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If it's a major change, we'll notify you in the app too. Continuing to use DeltaLift after an update means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes go to Swedish courts. If you're an EU consumer, this doesn't override the consumer protection laws in your own country.
